Kyu Choi
Lead Pastor
Pastor Kyu was born in South Korea, raised in Thailand, and educated in the United States at Moody Bible Institute, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master of Divinity degrees. But more importantly, that is where he met his wife, Rachel, and now they have three boys: Simeon, Barnabas, and Thomas! As the lead pastor of Highfield Baptist Church, he strives to Love God and Love people, so that we may live and love like Jesus did. During his downtime, he enjoys tabletop games, fishing, and never passes up a good cup of coffee.


Phil Williams
Pastor of Visitation
Phil, Linda & Tabitha make their home in Riverview, N.B. Pastor Phil has served Baptist Churches for 36 years with the CBAC. Presently he travels throughout the Maritime provinces sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through song and the reciting of sacred poetry and scripture. Laurie Kammermann
Worship Director
Laurie studied at Moody Bible Institute, where she met her husband Ron. They have a busy home with three sons and a daughter. Laurie is the Worship Director at Highfield and leads our worship team, choir, and youth/children’s musicals and supports our tech team. Her passion is to help engage the congregation in worship. She has recently been playing Beat Saber (virtual reality) in the hopes of sharpening her conducting skills!


Courtney Thibodeau
Administrative Assistant
Courtney is happily married to Derek and they have an energetic, praise music loving daughter named Evelyn. Courtney has attended Highfield since middle school, has worked as one of our summer students, and is now our Administrative Assistant! Her desire is to see more families join Highfield so that new connections and relationships can be formed. A fun fact about Courtney is that she loves all things crafty; with her current favorite being hand embroidery!
Wesley Breau
Custodian
Wes grew up in Moncton. He is married to his wife, Chantal and has two children. He loves the Lord, his church family and his coworkers. He loves to spend time outdoors on his bike and talking to people about his faith. If he can’t be biking, he enjoys coffee and hockey and being with friends.
